Reminder has been sent to parent volunteers for the Chinese New Year Celebrations. If you’ve signed up at Registration or able to help this Friday, please come at 5PM and join us.

Raffle Drawing Prizes Needed
BVCS is seeking donation for raffle drawing at Chinese New Year Celebration. The raffle drawing has been the highlight for the BVCS Chinese New Year Celebrations, Please bring the gifts unwrapped to the office between now and January 20. Thank you!

新春聯歡會 Chinese New Year Celebration This Friday
時間過得真快,今年的新春聯歡會將於
星期五 6:30 PM 隆重登場,希望大家不論男女老幼皆能穿著中國式服裝出席,歡迎共襄盛舉。
The BVCS Chinese New Year Celebration is this Friday at 6:30PM in MPR room. Adult and Children are encourage to wear traditional Chinese attire for this festivities.

Make-A-Wish Foundation at BVCS Chinese New Year Celebration
At the BVCS Chinese New Year Celebration, members of the California High School’s DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) will be doing a fundraising for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Make-A-Wish Foundation is the nation largest wish-granting organization and a well-respected international charity. The Foundation gives hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions by granting their wishes with donor funds.
To fundraise, Cal High students will be selling drinks and snacks on Friday, 1/27 inside MPR room. Please help support their efforts by making a kind purchase. 100% proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish Foundation. Thank you!

Thank you all for your participation and help. The 2012 Bay Valley Chinese School EP Contest ended with a success last Friday. This exciting contest involved 100 student participants and 20 teachers/volunteers. The "Winner List" has been posted at school website.
Contest coordination, planning and execution would not be possible without our EP contest coordinator, Ms. Winnie Chang and her team. Thank you!!

Friendly Reminder to Parents
Parents have the responsibility to transport the children to and from school in a timely and safe manner. The safety of the students either before or after the regular school schedule is also the responsibility of the parents. This including EP classes, EP contest and other school events.
