新春聯歡會 Chinese New Year Celebration This Friday
The wait is over! The Bay Valley Chinese School's New Year Celebration is one of the best-loved events of the entire year. This celebration will be kicked off by our High School students' Lion Dance accompanied by spectacular student performing classes. Dan Chan, The Magic Man will end the evening on high note.
You might want to consider wearing traditional Chinese attire and arrive early for best seating at 6:30PM.
Our 7th grade students will be selling drinks and snacks (Egg Tarts, Tea Eggs etc.) on Friday inside MPR room. Please help support their efforts by making a kind purchase. 100% proceeds will go to your BVCS. Thank you!

2013 CAPA Summer Internship Announcement
The CAPA Community Education Fund (CAPA-CEF) has been sponsoring a student internship program for over 20 years, where it has provided more than 300 students the unique opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the political process as well as a solid understanding of the importance of Asian American civic participation.
The Internship Committee is currently accepting online applications for 2013 program; the deadline is February 28, 2013.
SF Chinese New Year Festival & Parade
San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade will be on Saturday, 2/23 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Nowhere in the U.S. will you see a lunar new year parade with more gorgeous floats, elaborate costumes, ferocious lions and exploding firecrackers.
