The Bay Valley Chinese School is pleased to announce a very special event in celebration of our 10th Anniversary as well as to the class of 2012 graduation ceremony. Information will be sent home with your kid next week. Please be sure to check his/her folder for this special event.

Scholarship Opportunity for Youth
Our youth today are facing many challenges including increase in tuition fees, reduced number of job opportunities and lack of scholarship opportunities. PG&E recently announced a scholarship to assist youth with obtaining their dreams of a higher education. The deadline is February 17, 2012.
SF Chinese New Year Festival & Parade
San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade is this Saturday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Nowhere in the U.S. will you see a lunar new year parade with more gorgeous floats, elaborate costumes, ferocious lions and exploding firecrackers. Check out the detail at http://www.chineseparade.com/.
