Wow! Congratulations to BVCS Chinese Culture Team, "Yes, You Did It!!" Lead by Evelyne Lao-shi and Shirley Lao-shi, BVCS Girls' team winning the 3rd place in team contest and
three our 7th grade girls (Emily, Isabel and Elisa) grabbing trophies for 1st, 3rd and 5th
in individual contest.

Open enrollment continues this FRIDAY, 5/3. New Students Registration will be held in office between 6pm and 8pm only. If your friends or relatives are interested to enroll in BVCS in the fall, please let them know about this.

BVCS Food Drive Coming 5/17
Many in our community go hungry on a daily basis - Approximately 1 in 6 of our Contra Costa neighbors (mostly children and seniors) can't afford the food they need. With this in mind, we join hands with the Contra Costa Food Bank for a Food Drive, so we at Bay Valley Chinese School can give back to our local community.
On 5/17, be sure to bring in non-perishable (non-glass) items that can be shared with those in greater need. We have 3 barrels to fill, let's make them overflow! More details to be advised.
