Results at Northern California Chinese School Culture Contest
Wow! Congratulations to BVCS Chinese Culture Team, "Yes, You Did It!!" Lead by Evelyne Lao-shi (Culture Class) and Shirley Lao-shi (5th grade), your school is a Northern California Chinese School Association 3rd place winner in the middle school category. In addition, BVCS's Isabel H. (6B class) is the Third Place Winner at the individual category contest.

Open enrollment continues this FRIDAY, 5/11. New Students Registration will be held in office between 6pm and 8pm only. If your friends or relatives are interested to enroll in BVCS in the fall, please let them know about this.

10 of our 15 fine TAs will be heading to college this fall. Please give them a round of applause and a BIG hug since without their time and effort; we would not have the Chinese school that we have today.
Evelyn Yang (4 yrs), Veronica Tong (3 yrs), Karen Chen (3 yrs), Lauren Chen (3 yrs), Mimi Lyang (2 yrs), Justine Chuang (2 yrs), Emily Miao (2 yrs), Adam Pan (2 yrs), Gilbert Lin (2 yrs), and Eric Tu (2 yrs).
Many of them have served BVCS for many years and we are going to miss them dearly.
2012 Relay For Life
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a community gathering that allows everyone to join the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at night and take turns walking or running around the track.
This year Relay For Life will be held on July 14, 2012, Saturday 12:00pm, at Foothill College in Los Altos Hill, CA.

To encourage youth participation, American Cancer Society will award the community service hours: 40 hours awarded to team captain and 20 hours awarded to each team member.
On top of RFL community service hours' award, BVCS will give an additional 20 community service hours to team captain and 10 hours to each team member.Talk to Allison at KA during recess for details.

5/20 Anniversary Gala
Our anniversary gala will be at Canyon View in San Ramon on Sunday May 20, 2012. The event begins at 5 p.m. The first 100 guests will be receiving a free raffle ticket for exciting prizes. So be sure to arrive early! Click here for location details.
