BVCS Food Drive This Friday!
Many in our community go hungry on a daily basis - Approximately 1 in 6 of our Contra Costa neighbors (mostly children and seniors) can't afford the food they need. With this in mind, we join hands with the Contra Costa Food Bank for a Food Drive, so we at Bay Valley Chinese School can give back to our local community.
On Friday, be sure to bring in non-perishable (non-glass) items that can be shared with those in greater need. Drop off will be at school curb near the stop sign.
Top Ten Most Wanted Food Items
- Canned Meat, Fish & Soups
- Canned Ready to Eat Meals
- Canned Vegetables & Tomato Products
- Peanut Butter (plastic container)
- Cereal
- Fruit Juice
- Canned Fruit
- Dry Beans (any type)
- Rice or Pasta
- Powdered Milk
Glass items and expired food will not be accepted. Thank you for your generous donation and participation in this year's canned food drive!

Open enrollment continues this FRIDAY. New Students Registration will be held in office between 6pm and 8pm only. If your friends or relatives are interested to enroll in BVCS in the fall,
please share this weblink with them.

Mandarin private lesson in summer
BVCS wants to encourage students to keep up their Chinese language skills over the summer months.
If you are interested in private Mandarin lesson during the summer, contact office for details.
