Principal's Message
Dear Bay Valley Chinese School Families:
As I look back on 2011-2012 at the Bay Valley Chinese School, I remain amazed by the extraordinary level of dedication shown by every family of our school community.
Throughout the past decade at the Bay Valley Chinese School, it has been a major effort to offer our students bilingual skills and promote diversity in our communities, while continuing to encourage lifelong learning.
It is worth noting, again, that the Bay Valley Chinese School is a non-profit organization for the only purpose of promoting Chinese language and culture for children. The vision and mission is to develop strong Chinese language skills that children will need for a sound foundation. This foundation wills not only serve children well in their pursuit for higher education, if that is their goal, but will also be of an advantage to children in terms of social and future business endeavors. I have no doubt that each and every one of the Bay Valley Chinese School students will benefit from the most widely spoken language in the world and ensure a winning advantage in the global society.
As we approach the last day of the school year, I have one earnest wish for our students: "Live your lives in such a way that you will reflect credit upon yourselves, your parents and your community".
Last but not least, it has been a great pleasure serving you this year. I want to again "Xie, Xie" thank all the volunteers, board members, parents, teachers, and students for making 2011-2012 a splendid school year.

Sunday, 5/20 Anniversary Gala
Our anniversary gala will be at Canyon View in San Ramon THIS Sunday, May 20. The event begins at 5 p.m. The first 100 guests will be receiving a free raffle ticket for exciting prizes. So be sure to arrive early! Click here for location details.
