February 4 will be the day Shaolin Master Zhen-long Yu performs with students for the Celebration of the Year of Rabbit. If you are currently practicing or have been coached at "Kungfu Dragon USA", you are welcome to join the performance. The opportunity to perform on stage with the highly renowned Master Yu comes few and far between. Don’t miss this chance.

Recruiting Enthusiastic Parents to Assist at the Lunar New Year Celebration:
As we begin to toggle the countdown for the celebration of the Year of Rabbit, we desperately need to rally as much support as we could from the big family of BVCS. There are small tasks that do not take too much of your time, such as decorating the stage, preparing the props, setting the chairs, pumping the balloons, hanging the spring couplets, etc. Let’s team up and forge a wonderful memory filled with rich culture and traditions for our children. BVCS's Read-Aloud Contest Still Open for Registration!
February 17 is scheduled for an in-house read-aloud competition. All students are encouraged to take part! The first-place winner will represent Bay Valley Chinese School to participate in the annual competition organized by the Association of Northern California Chinese Schools!
