了分享這份學習的熱忱,從本週起,灣谷特別推出「學習成果展」專欄,為學生們搭建一
個展示學習成果的舞台,與大家共同見證他們的努力與成長。
在這個專欄中,老師將精選學生的課堂作業與創意作品,展現學習過程中的樂趣與巧思。
希望透過這樣的分享,不僅激勵學生認真學習,也讓大家感受到中文學習的魅力。無論是
一次精心書寫的漢字練習、一篇用心撰寫的文章,或是一個生動有趣的課堂活動成果,每
一份作品都承載著學生的努力與汗水,值得我們給予掌聲與肯定。
“Student Learning Showcase” Debuts -- Recognizing Dedication and Growth!
Learning Chinese is a journey, and every step forward deserves to be celebrated! True learning extends beyond grades and report cards—it is about effort, progress, and the determination to improve. To honor this commitment, we are excited to introduce a new section in our newsletter: the “Student Learning Showcase.” This platform highlights students’ learning accomplishments, allowing everyone to witness their hard work and growth.
In this showcase, teachers will feature selected classwork, creative projects, and outstanding assignments that capture the fun and ingenuity of the learning process. Through this initiative, we aim not only to encourage students to engage more deeply in their studies but also to inspire our community with the charm of learning Chinese. Whether it’s a diligently written Chinese character practice, a thoughtfully composed essay, or an interesting classroom project, each work reflects the students’ dedication and perseverance—worthy of our recognition and applause.
KA學習成果展: 趣味互動學漢字
對於幼兒來說,學習漢字既新鮮又充滿挑戰,這不僅與他們的年齡有關,也涉及認知發展
的特性。與字母系統不同,漢字沒有直接的發音與字形對應,這讓孩子們在理解和記憶時
更加不易建立聯繫。
為了讓孩子們更自然地掌握漢字,KA班楊莉清老師運用多元互動教學方式,讓漢字學習
變得生動有趣。透過手工製作魚的活動,學生不僅能直觀地認識「魚」這個字,還能透過
觸覺與創意加深理解,使學習過程更加有趣。同時,將「人」比喻為行走的姿態,並讓孩
子在透明片練習筆畫,使書寫變成一種遊戲,不僅提升了參與感,也減少了傳統重複書寫
帶來的枯燥感。
KA Learning Showcase: Hands-on Fun with Chinese Characters
Teaching Chinese characters to kindergarteners presents unique challenges due to their young age and cognitive development. Unlike alphabetic systems, Chinese characters lack a direct sound-to-symbol correspondence, making it harder for children to associate them with meaning.
To bridge this gap, KA teacher Ms. Lily Yang incorporates interactive activities that bring
characters to life. By crafting their own versions of fish, students gain a visual and tactile
understanding of "魚", deepening their grasp of its meaning through creativity. Similarly,
illustrating "人" as a walking figure and using transparency sheets for stroke practice
transform writing into a hands-on activity, making it more fun and less tedious.
Little Hands, Big Discoveries! KA students dive into learning the Chinese character for "fish" (魚) through a fun and creative craft project!
Some students are joyfully crafting fish to explore the character "魚", while others are eagerly mastering their strokes to write "人" with focus and concentration!
共同維護教室環境,共創友善學習空間!
松谷中學(Pine Valley Middle School)校方最近反映,部分教室物品遭到擅自移動或損壞
。灣谷租借該校舍辦學,有責任愛惜教室設備,並共同維護整潔有序的校園環境。
為確保孩子們擁有良好的學習空間,懇請家長協助提醒孩子尊重教室物品,特別是日間教
師的教學用品,並遵守教室使用規則。請與孩子一起討論,好讓他們明白並理解遵守這些

Helping Our Students Foster Respect and Responsibility in the Classroom
Pine Valley Middle School’s administration has informed us of concerns regarding classroom property being tampered with or damaged. As guests on their campus, it is essential that we uphold a respectful and responsible learning environment.
