緊急公告: 守護孩子安全！導守校園交通規則！
學校近日接獲多宗有關正門接送區危險駕駛行為的投訴，當中甚至有孩童險些被車輛撞到 的驚險情況。校方對此深感憂慮，為確保學生的安全，我們必須立即採取因應措施，以避 免悲劇發生。

自本週五起，學校將於正門，嚴格執行 單線、單向 行車規定，並封閉一條車道，放置橘色 交通錐引導車流，防止違規雙排停車。請家長務必遵守新規範，時刻保持警覺。

為了孩子的安全，為了避免危險情況發生，校方誠摯呼籲家長遵守以下事項：

  1. 預留充足時間來接送孩子，避免因趕時間而導致的危險行為。
  2. 減速慢行，隨時注意周邊孩童的動向。
  3. 遵守交通規則，切勿違規停車或臨時停靠影響車流。
  4. 親自護送年幼孩童進出教室，切勿讓孩子獨自穿越馬路或自行穿梭車流。

請牢記：孩子的安全無比重要，沒有任何事情比他們的生命更珍貴！ 安全需要大家共同維護，校方懇請大家的合作，共同守護我們的孩子！

URGENT NOTICE: Safeguard Our Children’s Lives! Adhere to School Traffic Rules!
Recently, we have received alarming reports of dangerous driving behavior in the drop- off and pick-up area at the front entrance. Disturbingly, there have even been near-miss incidents where children were almost struck by vehicles. This is a matter of grave concern, and we must take immediate action to prevent a tragedy.

Starting this Friday, we will be strictly enforcing a one-lane, one-way traffic flow in front of the school. One of the two lanes will be blocked with additional orange traffic cones to help regulate traffic and avoid double parking. We urge everyone to follow these new safety measures and always remain vigilant.

For the safety of your child and all students, we strongly advise all parents to follow the following guidelines:

  1. Allow ample time for drop-off and pick-up to avoid rushing.
  2. Drive slowly and stay alert for children in and around the school zone.
  3. Follow traffic rules and avoid illegal parking or blocking the traffic flow, as this creates hazards for others.
  4. Escort your children safely to and from their classrooms – do not let them cross the street alone or navigate the traffic unattended.

Bear in mind: Nothing is more important than a child’s safety! It takes a village to raise a child, and it takes all of us to protect them. Let’s work together to ensure a safe environment for our children!

透過引導學生重組漢字拼圖碎片，KA班楊莉清老師巧妙地運用有趣的教學方式，讓學生在遊戲中增強對漢字結構的記憶。這樣的學習環境，充滿互動與樂趣，學生不只是單純地玩拼圖遊戲，而是在輕鬆自在的過程中，逐步掌握漢字的結構與奧妙。

KA Learning Showcase : Chinese Characters Recognition Through Puzzles
By guiding students to assemble the puzzle pieces of a Chinese character, KA teacher Ms. Lily Yang introduced an immersive approach to character recognition. Through this dynamic and interactive method, students went beyond simply playing a game, they actively engaged in reconstructing, internalizing, and mastering the intricacies of Chinese writing in way that is both spontaneous and enjoyable.

KB學習成果展 : 形狀與顏色
生活是一幅由色彩與形狀交織而成的絢麗畫卷。還有什麼比用圖畫來引導幼兒探索這個繽紛世界更適當呢？他們手握彩色鉛筆，將日常景象化為生動畫作，捕捉身邊的色彩與形狀。KB班江秀華老師為了強化孩子的認知，設計了閃卡遊戲；隨著她唸出顏色與形狀，學生紛紛舉起對應的卡片，朗讀對應的顏色及形狀。這樣的互動，不僅提升聽覺辨識能力，強化記憶，更讓學習變成一場充滿樂趣的探索之旅。

Life is a vivid tapestry woven with colors and shapes. What better way to introduce kindergartners to this world than through drawing? With colored pencils in hand, they bring everyday scenes to life, capturing the hues and forms around them. To deepen their understanding, KB teacher Mrs. Tammy Tong guided them through a playful flashcard game—calling out colors and shapes as eager hands raised the matching cards and asking them to pronounce the shapes and colors on flashcards. This interactive approach refines their listening, strengthens memory, and turns learning into a joyful journey of discovery.

    BVCS is a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping tuition affordable. To support this goal, each household is required to contribute to safety duties by having one parent or guardian on duty. For security reasons, we cannot post all the names publicly. However, below is the general schedule based on last names.
    Duty hours are from 6:45 pm to 8:50 pm. Should you have questions about the schedule or want to know the specific date of your campus patrol duty, please send your inquiry to bayvalleychineseschool@yahoo.com. Each week, a yard duty lead will send a reminder email to the assigned parents.
